From yesterday's FCC Broadcast Applications, an application for a new FM translator:
FL BNPFT-20130327AGJ NEW 140895 CSN INTERNATIONAL CP New Station.
E 96.5 MHZ TALAHASSEE, FL
"Talahassee". Uh, right.
I might suggest, if you have an application on file that's mutually exclusive with this one, you might file a petition to deny, demanding CSN International prove the existence of "Talahassee"...
This is nowhere near the first application I've seen where the applicant couldn't figure out how to spell the proposed city of license. I realize principal community service is pretty much a sham these days, but can't we at least expect them to spell it right?!
