Location of New WCBS-FM studio

CBS Radio will have all its New York radio stations (except WCBS 880) on the 10th and 11th floors of 345 Hudson Street.

The move takes WINS (1010) and Fresh 102.7 from their aging studios at 888 Seventh Avenue, WCBS-FM from its digs in the former WLTW space in the Viacom building at 1515 Broadway and WFAN from the basement of the old Kaufman Astoria studios in Queens - and it will put them all in an area that's becoming a "hotbed of radio."

CBS has 75,000 square feet of office space up on the 10th and 11th floors (a birds-eye view for Holland Tunnel traffic reports).

Emmis stations (WQHT/WQCD/WRKS) are at 395 Hudson Street, as well as the new WNYC studios blocks away.
Clear Channel's 5 FM stations are also blocks away at 32 Avenue of the Americas.

Isn't WCBS-AM 880 on West 57th Street? I usually see the black CBS BROADCAST CENTER[i/] awning when driving past up 10th Avenue.

I believe CBS-FM isn't in their new Hudson Street studios quite yet, but rather in a temporary location on West 57th Street - 40 W. 57th if I remember reading correctly. They will be moving into their new studios within a year's time, according to what Steve O'Brien posted on the NYRMB.

Yes, the new studio is where the "green room" for O&A was as the Hudson Street digs aren't ready.

WCBS(AM) will remain in the Broadcast Center after all the others move downtown.

Are there some pictures from the new studio's?

agree with you - i wouldn't mind seeing what the NEW studio (or the guys or Sue O'Neil) look like!! :)

CBSFM should have a live streaming studio cam on wcbsfm.com that would be great.

That would be great. All the CBS owned stations in Tampa Fl. have webcams on there websites in very good quality. I thought CBS integreted this on other stations in the country but Tampa is the only market from CBS with webcams at the moment.
