I know the new LOGO channel is on Directv. Anyone have an idea when Time Warner will carry this channel, or should I give up all hope now and get a dish? How about Dish Network?

It all depends. Time Warner Observations from here:
Added Nick GAS
Added VH1 Classic
Added Nick 2 (West feed of Nickelodeon)
Added NickToons TV (Viacom Digital Service) and dropped it a year later
Never added VH1 Mega Hits
Added MTV Hits
Never Added MTV Jams
Since it is a Viacom digital service, I can only say that it is POSSIBLE from these observations. Will be for sure on digital.
______________

Depends on where you live. If its a particularily conservitive area, don't hold your breath.

I know how you feel.
MTV Jams (MTV X)
MMUSA/Fuse (MuchMusic)
Current (Newsworld International)
Are all examples of channels that I used to love to watch that got replaced. I never got a chance to see VH1 Mega Hits but I always wanted to.
______________

I suppose next there will be whining about the loss of:
The Nashville Network (Spike TV by way of The National Network)
Cable Health Network (Lifetime)
ARTS and The Entertainment Channel (A&E)
CBN Satellite Network (Fox Family/ABC Family)
HA!/The Comedy Channel (Comedy Central)
Movietime (E!)
Odyssey (Hallmark Channel)
What did I leave out?

I'll throw a regional one into the mix: Philadelphia's PRISM....which really didn't have anything replace it on the movie side.

I damn near cried the day they took away Romance Classics (now "WE", for Women's Entertainment).
______________

Prism was never on Satellite. it used microwave to get to the regional cable services. thats why you can't find Comcast Sports net.(Philly) on Satellite, which is what took Prism's place.
______________

Another regional: Sports Time, a channel that broadcast games and sports talk shows in the mid-80s. It met its demise because it tried to serve too large of a region -- it had Royals, Cardinals and Reds games. It was also a pay channel.
