I have NEVER seen a logo for KWWA....I don't think there was ever an "official logo" for 106.9 other than some generic
KBRO 1490 / KWWA FM 107
Puget Sound West Radio
....until KHIT arrived.
KEUT had a logo...I just can't remember what it looked like, which is really why I'm glad you're doing this project.
These old radio memories of mine are just getting fuzzier and fuzzier over time and I would want somebody out there to save these increasingly distant memories of a time I once remember fondly, but what today I can no longer use.
Puget Sound radio has a VERY unique, beautiful and rich history (as much as certain hotshots today would like to forget it ever even existed.) And before it goes completely into tatters, I would like to have as much as I can still recall written down somewhere for posterity (and believe me, in a generation or two from now, somebody will be wanting to know how radio got from the '60s to whatever technology they have tomorrow.) Somehow, there seems to be a lot of people in the biz today that think it only got started in 1996 (which is the start of the FALL of radio as a major force in music and personality entertainment, not when it BEGAN......)
Which is the beauty of the internet, somebody else out there can help fill the potholes here and there in my own memory.
