Is it possible to put up a splash screen or something if a user is going to be automatically logged out? This is actually mentioned in the web content accessibility guidelines, but only one of four sites I know of that log users out automatically after a certain period of inactivity actually pops up a notice saying your session will expire soon. Any chance could get this RD? I've found myself logged out unexpectedly from this site several times. Also, can the issue of faster logout times when composing a message be looked into? Ever since RD moved to the new platform in 2013, when I've been writing a really long message, when I go to post it I'm logged out, even if I've been reading something for seemingly longer.

The site software does not have the option of giving you a warning notice before terminating your session (as far as I know).
When writing very long posts, you may want to write them offline and then copy and paste them to the website.
