Lohan Dad Cusses Out Fox News Host

On the heels of his daughter's jail sentencing, Lindsay Lohan's father Michael got flustered and dropped an F-bomb on Shepard Smith's Fox News program "Studio B."

D, dude, another misleading thread title! Lohan's dad didn't "cuss out" Shepard Smith. He got excited and dropped an f-bomb. Simple as that, though it was somewhat entertaining. As a New Yorker, you can tell that he's pretty used to using that word on a daily basis.

And, sorry, but his daughter is trash. ::)

The whole family is nuts. I watched part of the interview, turning it off after getting disgusted with him. Shep was questioning his actions and he was trying to justify being out partying as his daughter was being hauled off to jail! He and Lindsay's mom should be right there with her.

Oh, you mean, kinda like if we ignore that whole "Spygate" thing, that will go away?

Yup. Nothing like them damn foreigners delving into the secrets of our shopping malls and downtown watering holes.

Has anyone figured out just what these "spies" were spying on? Anyone? Buehler?

You've got wars, oil spill, unemployment, foreclosures, terrorism, crime, etc. just to name a few issues and our top news story is Lohan (when it's not Le Bron)

As one who travels internationally on a frequent basis, I've stopped wondering why many people in other countries think we're slightly nuts!

I'm pretty much sick of hearing about that damn oil spill every stinking day. We don't need to hear about it every day. Maybe weekly updates. And then tell us when it's finally cleaned up.

Thanks Marc, for illustrating cyberdad's point.

Thanks, BRNout.

But hey, I've already spent eight weeks so far this year on the beach just outside Pensacola (Perdido Key). All these annoying people losing their way of life not to mention their jobs, frustrated with government and BP finger-pointing, delays, and red tape. Can't they just be quiet and let me enjoy a cold beer in peace on the balcony? As it is, I have to look out at those clean-up crews and their unsightly outfits, their smelly porta-potties, dozens of skimmer boats, and put up with the noise from all those damned noisy recon planes!

I'm glad when I put on CNN this morning, the first thing I learned was that Li-Lo thinks she might need a new lawyer, followed by the LeBron reaction updates from Miami and Cleveland. Later, they finally got around to mentioning that crews are intitiating a procedure that could finally capture all of the oil spill leakage by the end of next week. ???

Seriously, I'm not trying to get into an argument with anyone. In fact, I won't even argue whether or not the level of coverage of the spill in the national media has been excessive (let's be honest, some days there's no new news)....even though this will likely go down as the biggest economic and environmental disaster in 234 years of American History.

My original point basically had to do with the priorities of the national news media.....which of course are dictated by the interest, whims, concerns, and attention span of the American public. I offer my perspective from the standpoint of one who travels outside the U.S. several times a year, and sees firsthand how other's view us....as well as from my background as an ex-journalist.

Perhaps in inflated 2010 dollars but if measured against the American Civil War's formidable impact upon the economy, culture, politics, whole cities and virtually every family in the country it comes fantastically short.

While some are tired of hearing about a teeny little spill, as it is being spun, others of us are tired of hearing about a bunch of trashy little prima donnas who can't handle their drugs, alcohol, illicit sexual escapades and other such nonsense that tells the world that they are made of nothing more than slutty fluff. There was a time when shame was kept under wraps within a family.

The gusher in the Gulf of Mexico and the sudden ability to manage it in a few days, ironically in a similar fashion as a worldwide corporation such as GM emerging from bankruptcy in a few short weeks, is much more important than some impertinent little snip.
