I'm told they both are still with at KZPS.What happened to Anna & Ayo? Are they no longer at the station? What’s going on at Lonestar?
This is likely a good hire. It suggests to me iHM might (and I emphasize "might") be serious about fixing KEGL.New PD at both Lonestar and The Eagle:

iHeart is changing the imaging at its Classic Rock stations:
I recently listened to both KZPS and KEGL while within range on a drive to and from DFW. I don’t see how anyone currently would confuse the two. If anything, KEGL seemed a bit closer to KVIL, though there is quite a bit of difference there as well.Since its return to music, KEGL has played a number of currents. Right now they have 20 current songs, led by Evanescence. It gets played about 4 times a day. On the other hand, Lone Star isn't playing any currents that I can see. That's how they differentiate the stations.

…and now it’s Triple A that’s seen as more thoughtful, more musical, and more lyric driven than rock/alternative. Though, I’d add that Triple A is more than just rock.It could be an interesting discussion. At one time, alternative was created in reaction to what rock music had become. It was seen as more thoughtful, more musical, and more lyric driven than rock. Currently I'd say the two genres have merged. Today's rock is a lot less pop.
