Lonestar 92.5

Right at 30 years, and I've been in radio, in programming for around 25 of those...
(and if it wasn't for a couple of pesky felony convictions, it would probably be all 30...)

Don't I know it, little1. Three decades in the business, and I've gotta tell you community service was the least of my worries. What really upset me was that I didn't check out which countries had signed extradition treaties. Of course, when they found out I worked in radio that made matters worse.

Well Little 1 I don't laugh. I see someone who forgot and dismisses Good solid programing when some real estate agent waves a fat check in front of you. Cest la vie. It still doesnt solve the problem that radio audiences are dwindling, with nothing truly being innovative to keep them.

Dude, quit sprouting your pre-fab cliches and PAY ATTENTION. Maybe you have problems with reading comprehension, but did I say at any point that Lonestar wasn't innovative?

Uh, i don't think so. They're innovative. The problem is that they're skewing old musically, have old jocks, and have created a format that probably won't translate succesfully to other major markets...

Innovation is great...But unless "Cheap Channel" has turned over a new leaf, how long do you think they'll give Lone Star before they expect to see some return? And if, as predicted by multiple people, they have low cume, LONG cume, and lowish ratings, how much of a leash do you think they're going to have?

I'd LOVE to see more innovation...But I'd also like to see innovation that might actually succeeed too...

DUDE: Ouit looking at your homoginized, assembly line lameness which passes for radio today. If you are for innovation, why wait for someone to do it before you? You may go back to serving the stale sandwiches and the warm coke for your "FOCUSED??? research group.

Dude, you don't know where I work, or what I do. You have no idea if what I do is innovative or if it's a 'stale sandwich' approved by focus groups.

Buit hey, if you want to ignore the point and focus on tehtangent, go right ahead. You're the one that looks like a fool doing it...

Settle down boys, or else I am sending you both to your room without dinner.
