Long Island still has a dance mixshow

106.1 BLI's Club BLI is pretty dance friendly on Saturday nights. Even when the Party was still alive at 105, BLI was playing dance music. So don't despair, Long Islanders: you still have 2 great current dance mixshows - KTU's Saturday Night Dance Factory, and 106.1 BLI's Club BLI.

I wish that 105.3 would play commercial free Dance Hits (like Energy 98) instead of "Party" Hits. It now sounds like a very boring CHR. The kiddies won't bother to pull in 105.3's version of CHR when BLI has DJs and more energy.<P ID="signature">______________

I stand by my belief that TMO's changes at it's stations will put them further into the red. I think they will wind up selling those stations sooner or later. Hopefully to someone that will resurrect the Party 105 format.
No one's gonna listen to a boring CHR on a weak signal when WBLI comes in stronger and has personality. I doubt 105.3 will ever see a rating in the book again, same goes for 107.1.

How do you know the financial status of the TMO stations?

Also...for us slightly older folk...Love 96/WLVG 96.1 has a semi-live Sat. night live request 6-10PM/voice tracked 10PM-Midnite show with Scotty Hart that mixs 60's/70's oldies, dance hits from 70's and 80's, and retro 80's tunes...all upbeat, some "dancable" if not all! Nice mix, also with 90's stuff in there too! Also some cute/unusual phone callers mixed in as well! Very upbeat, personality-driven, but should be live till the witching hour, as it was a couple of weeks ago!
