Long live the king(Dusty that is!)

Dusty Rhodes, who first came on the air at the original 1360 WSAI in Cincy(back in the day when I was still reading David and Ann in Sister Sarah's class in 'da first grade)is back! This time at WDJO Oldies 1160 Florence/Cincinnati(former talker WBOB)which was bought by Christian Broadcasting Systems Ltd. out of Flint,MI from Salem Broadcasting and Trusty Dusty and Brian Kaufman is leasing it to bring back the 50s and 60s old school rock.
Wonder if Urban Light started a trend here???

Now for the $60K question..What song did Dusty play first and by what artist?...please no help from the audience(ticktockticktockticktock...DING!)

GIT R DONE 'DJO!!!
DUSTY STILL ROCKS!

Actually, no one did. Read about the story of the WBOB calls here...

The calls are now in North Carolina

In essence, Salem finagled the sale so that they kept the call letters for a new station they were putting up.

Later...
Matt Smith

Dusty Rhodes. The only name that I know, that is shared by a famous deejay, wrestler and baseball player/manager.
