I believe I posted a query many years ago; but thought I'd give it a shot since we have many new readers by now.

Trying to track down BILL BROWN, who was P/D @ KLYX/Clear Lake in the early 1970's. I believe he went up to Dallas (1980's); but wondering if anyone has heard of/about the guy in the last 50 years!!?

I'm afraid I can't help you with your search, but would you consider sharing the KLYX airchecks you mentioned 13 years ago? There isn't much publicly available regarding KLYX.
 
I don't have very much ... but recently was digitizing all loose cassettes so it should be easy to cull what I have and post 'em somewhere. I think I have the sign-on when they moved to Houstonaire on SW Freeway, a couple random show clips and that's about it.
 
That sounds like it would be interesting to hear. I've been doing my share of uploading old tapes to YouTube.
