CBS Radio Tampa/WRBQ has signed longtime morning star MASON DIXON to a new multi-year contract extension, DIXON has been a staple of WRBQ and the TAMPA BAY area since 1978.
 
i for one am very glad to hear this news. as a lifetime listener of his i hope to continue to hear him for years to come.
 
Mason Dixon is definately a Tampa Bay radio icon and fixture on FM 104.7. I wish him much continued success as he continues to entertain his fans on the mighty WRBQ "Q 105".
 
It seemed like only months ago (before the PPM era) when we were speculating the end of Q105 due to weak ratings. This is good news not only for the station, but for all involved with the morning show, as well. I hope they lock up Bobby, Nikki and Andrew long-term, as well - I like the group's chemistry with Mason.
