Longest career in radio history

On the Australian section of this board it mentioned talk radio host John Laws will retire after 71 years(!) In the radio biz. Do any American radio talent approach or surpass this feat?

In the NYC market, I suspect the award would go to the late Hal Jackson. Started his radio career in 1940 (WINX in Washington DC), still doing a Sunday program on WBLS in NYC in 2011. Died 2012. One of the founders of Inner City Radio, along with Percy Sutton.
