Janet Cawley, longtime senior editor at Fox News Digital, has passed away at the age of 75, the network reported Wednesday.

Cawley died on June 6 from gallbladder cancer that she was diagnosed with last year, Fox reported.

The veteran journalist had an extensive career that began in 1971 as a reporter for United Press International, working her way up to bureau chief.
