Mark Davis returns to the PD spot at KIOC replacing Joey Armstrong who left August 1st. Mark Davis was previously PD for the station from '01 until March of last year. Congratulations to Mark on his return to the "Big Dog".

It's MIKE Davis, not Mark. Unless you messed up the last name and Mark Landis is on his way back to Beaumont.

Well, that's what I get for relying on R&R. My apologies to Mike.

Well you could have at least given R & R the credit for your first post.
You left readers here with the impression this was first hand information,
that was exclusive to you.

Sorry, but I find it hard to believe that you give a damn of who had the exclusive news first since you don't even know where Orange, TX is!

Maybe you should stay awhile and get to know your fellow posters, before you criticize. Then you might know that I have no personal association with the business, except an extreme love and passion for the industry. Thanks for your concern, Daffy.

Thank you for the invitation to stay longer and get to know
the people that post on this forum.

I was in broadcasting for over thirty-five years, I know the business from inside out.
There are many radio "professionals" here that I worked with and know personally. I am not the casual observer as you might think.

Thank you for your reply.

Thirty-five years on the business and you don't know where Orange TX is?

I know exactly where Orange, Texas is. I have there and pass through Orange a thousand times in my life.

A good friend of mine and veteran broadcaster by the name of Ed Lovelace was the owner of K O G T for longer than anyone can remember. K O G T was the only radio station licensed in Orange County for years.

I even know where the K L V I transmitter is in Bridge City.

Now is there anything else.

Well there has obviously been a misunderstanding from people in the areas outside of Houston. That members of this forum don't want to hear and read about irrellevent information about Beaumont-Port Arthur-Orange, Liberty-Cleveland, Huntsville-Conroe, or any place else.

Only Houston/Galveston. Right?
