Hello everyone, I’m JerryG and I found my way to a nearly lifetime love of radio and broadcasting at age 7 in a 1967 Chevrolet pickup belonging to one of my uncles. Great AM reception in that truck and I was immediately hooked on radio! I loved it so much that I got a job as a very young teenager as an announcer on a 1,000 watt local country format station on AM. I had a few other announcing jobs at other stations in the next few years. Unfortunately for me, my chosen career would not pay the bills and I chose a state job to make ends meet. I still love radio on just about every band these days, AM, FM and shortwave. Thanks for allowing me to join the forums!
