Look Who Is Working Again.....Jeff Katz !!!!!!!!!

Sources at 10 Cabot Rd. in Medford told me today that Jeff Katz is back on the mic blowing alot of "hot air" as usual...

The Round Mound of Sound will be hosting the PM drive for a Clear Channel owned station in another market for the next couple of weeks.

Since Katz was let go with time left on his contract he will at least be earning some of the over paid dollars he was given to host the morning show on the failed
Rush Radio/Talk 1200.

The real question is will he be using the handicap spot in the parking lot this time around ???????

Hey, "Bob". I see your obsession with Jeff hasn't gone away. I'm sure the "overpaid" dollars are much more then you'll ever make.

Re: Look Who Is Working Again.....Jeff Katz

Just for the record: Apparently, Katz is part of a parade of auditioners for PM drive at 610 WIOD Miami.

Jeez Bob, what did Jeff ever do to you? Did he shoot your dog or slap your mother or something?

I wish him luck in finding work in this tough job market in a tough business to find employment in when things are good with the economy.

And apparently, you have a perfect, sculpted body.

It's a tough business to be in and I wish the best for Jeff. He has followers on Facebook from his Phil. (his home are) and Charlotte days; I think he did do some national fill-ins, and he has had runs in Boston on WRKO (twice, incl fill ins for Howie) and WXKS.

"That's how this business goes", laments the DJ in Harry Chapin's 70s hit W.O.L.D (as he travels from city to city. "So I drifted on down to Tulsa OK to do me a late night talk show. Now I'm out on my own again, via Boise, Idaho. That's how this business goes." (And now the 'narrator' of that song must be out east again, as he's now "the morning DJ, at W.O.L.D...")

As someone else mentioned, Jeff is auditioning for a spot on a Miami station. People really should do their homework before they spew hatred. Jeff is a decent man and as someone else pointed out, he has a following from his Philly days and his Charlotte days and his Boston days. Jeff is well liked.

I have always found him petty and repulsive

Reminds me of a line from "Death of a Salesman": "He's liked---but not well liked." And that, in turn, reminds me of a line from a promo that TV-38 runs for a sitcom (The Office"?): "I'm not superstitious, but I guess I am a little stitious."
