Looking back to WTKK....

They decided that talk radio meant trying to sound like Limbaugh. Angry right wing nuts was trend, but clearly its day has come and gone. Spittle was valued more than talent, it continues with the group of loons currently flopping on WRKO, -- I don't include Carr in that since he realizes that knee jerk politics will only take him so far.

I am sick of the political opinion masquarading as radio commentary. The so-called "Right Wing Nuts" kicked the crap out of LEFT wing nut radio (AKA Air Amerika!). And WTKK didn't know WHAT it wanted to be, that was part of the problem!

Knee Jerk Politics (see 'Our Dear Leader Obama') is HARDLY simply a bastion of the Right.

Boy, that some GOOD few days of stunting after WTKK signed off! ;D Miss 'em! The "Nova" thing could've worked if "Evolution" wasn't here.

Honestly, I thought 'TKK was good in that it didn't try to be all-political. Yes, it had some, but they had financial/other types of shows. Granted, this probably lead to its downfall, but whenever I would tune in, it tried to have a good direction with them. Unfortunately, some advertisers think its better to go all-Political rather than neutral or Middle of the Road Talk.
