Job Description: The full-time General Assignment Reporter must demonstrate strong skills in gathering information; develops and writes enterprising stories under deadline. The reporter appears on camera – live and taped – and does voice reports.

Job Requirements: Conduct effective interviews and demonstrate strong skills in gathering information. Develop and write enterprising stories under deadline pressure. Appear on camera - live and on tape - and do voice reports. Track ongoing stories, develop sources, understand issues, as well as enterprise and personalize stories.
Education Requirements: Four-year college degree and two years’ minimum experience preferred, with an emphasis in Broadcast Communications or related experience. Prior reporting experience preferred. Emphasis on enterprise and investigative reporting preferred. The ability to work well with others is a must, along with a positive, can-do attitude. Creativity, resourcefulness, and strong organizational skills desired. Must have a valid New York State driver license. Knowledge of the area is a plus.
