Anyone have a "newer" (1980's or 1990's) 10KW CCA FM xmtr for sale within a few hundred miles of Indianapolis? Single or 3 phase, with or without exciter in good working condition.

You may want to check with our mutual friend in New Albany. He has a couple of transmitters, but I'm not sure the power.
Will do. I've had good luck withe the Energy Onix ECO series...a 10KW one of those would be in my comfort zone.
I would say consider Nautel....but there are not many used Nautels on the market. 
Yup. Most peopole don't want to let loose of them. (because they support their stuff for years and years and it runs for years and years !)
