Looking for airchecks WCMF, WMJQ c. early '80s

Greetings, all! Hope someone here can help me.

I'm looking for any airchecks of WCMF and/or WMJQ from the early '80s for a project. Most specifically, I'm trying to locate any imaging of that era from either station, but unscoped or scoped airchecks would be jim dandy, too.

Any tips would be appreciated, reply here or email (preferred): [email protected]. Thanks!

Try emailing Brother Wease at the FOX here in Rochester or Dave Kane over at Entercom. Both of them might have some old airchecks of WCMF in their basements or attics.

As for the other station, I can't help you there since I really don't remember who worked at WMJQ.

A great source for radio information however is Scott Fybush. www.fybush.com

He might be able to point you in the right direction.

Good luck!

I believe Tony Infantino of WRMM and Scott Spezzano of WPXY worked for both WCMF and WMJQ during that time frame, as did Dave Kane.

I have tape from the early 70's but I was long gone by the early 80's. Dave Kane would be an excellent source. Likewise Bernie Kimble, who was at CMF in the 70's and moved over to MJQ at some point. He moved on to Philly and at last report was in Cleveland.
