LOOKING FOR AUTOGRAM "CANS" MA, LA, MT, MP's...

I am resurrecting an Autogram AC-8 and in need of some of the "cans" for this console.
MA, LA, MT, MP or any others....plug in amps and such for the console...
Maybe you used to have one of these consoles that's long gone but the spares are still on the shelf and you'd just as soon send them away too....or have extra's...OR if you can repair them I could get a few bucks your way...

contact me: [email protected] be sure to put "autogram" in the subject line so I know it's not SPAM!!

I have 2 of these consoles still in service and working great. Most times replaceing the capacitors in the cans will cure the problems. I have no spare cans but if a copy of the wireing diagram will help you let me know.

THE best sounding budget console in the world, and better than a lot of the high-enders.

I'm glad some of them are still kickin'

They weren't even budget when they appeared. But it's worth measuring one just for fun... the audio through them is incredible... particulary considering they're transformer out.
As a matter of interest, the IC-10 was built both by Autogram in Plano and by Rockwell/Collins Division in Richardson. The Plano built ones had chrome plated cans inside, while the Rocketship Radio Company used black Alondined cans for the plugins. The Rockwell line was mil spec, and consequently had a bit better quality control. I think all the various iterations of the cans are plug interchangeable. They improved much over the years. Henry Engineering built some aftermarket ones, as did the people who built replacement audio cards for ITC Premium Line cart players.
An interesting bit of trivia - the gent who ran the place (forget his name) told me at a convention that the case around the IC-10 was substantially more expensive than the stuff inside the box. Also, he said that's why the six mix one had the end pieces across instead of cut down to match the surface. The IC-6 case was sheared, while the IC-10 one had to be milled which ran the price up substantially.
Not to be confused witht he AC-8 which was a total Rockwell design and shared only the basic 'look' with the others. Nothing in it was common to the Autogram designs.
