This is the cut and paste from a recent comment on the car website Jalopnik:

very beautiful rig. I love that generation of Chevy truck. My dad had a '49 chev 5 window (same year that he was born) that was an absolute blast to ride around in. He ended up going the restoration route after a while, however. He tore it down, prepped everything, then ran out of time and sold it. The truck had a mustang II front suspension in the works as well as a 350 swap out of a slightly newer Chev flatbed truck. The truck was sold in Bellingham, WA to Kevin Kelly, an old DJ on the radio.

"Why am I going through all this detail" you ask? If you're reading this and know anything about where that old truck is, PLEASE get a hold of me. I would give anything to have that truck back. If you happen to have that truck, I'll trade you a '62 Chevy C20 and a '93 Ford Explorer for it.
