What happened to Drew, the afternoon guy, from Magic 98.1 FM?

Read the bio on the post right before this one.

When I first did production in Columbus, if I thought something was unacceptable to air, I was expected not to let it. The blame fell on the copywriter (or whoever produced the spot originally) in those cases, not me. I thought that this was the norm everywhere else. I didn't unlearn that "school" of thought before it was too late. After making one too many decisions that weren't mine to make, I was sacked.

It was a poor assumption on my part at the root of the miscommunication (though it took more than a year for me to be able to look back and understand that). I've mended fences with Joe Pedicino since then. We've been back in touch for the better part of two months now.

I wear many hats at Davis Broadcasting (based in Columbus, owner of WLKQ/La Raza 102.3). Among other occasional responsibilities, I'm weekend/fill-in jock on Classic Rock 95.7 the River and producer for ESPN SportsRadio 1580 the Zone.

(If you were being facetious, I'll f*ck off most graciously ;-)

I was a bit thrown by the fact that you posted looking for me right after I posted looking for someone, even titling the entries almost the same.

WIOL's tower is in Greenville now, so we get better coverage in the LaGrange-ish area than here in Columbus.
