LOOKING FOR MISSISSIPPI RADIO LPS

Hey all - I have a Web site dedicated to radio station LPs, http://www.radiouseonly.com

Unfortunately, I don't have any LPs from Mississippi radio stations.

Can someone tell me if there were any of these albums issued by radio stations - and
if anyone has one, please let me know - Mississippi needs to be represented!

Thanks in advance!

In the early 70's, WWUN issued one of the "Solid Gold" albums like the ones on your site for WIXY, Cleveland and WKLO, Louisville. I think (always dangerous territory when I start "remembering") Rick Martin, Dave Blair, Don Brady and others had their pictures in the center fold-out. WMC-AM in Memphis put out the same one at the time, when Jack Parnell was PD.

Wow! I haven't heard the Jackson, My Home Town song in 40 years.
It was part of PAMs series 16. I was PD at WJXN back then -- while in high school --
and wrote most of the lyics to the tune. (As bad as they are...)
I have the rest of Series 16; but, the song was lost...along with most of my tapes...
in a move from Virginia back to Mississippi in the mid 80s.

I would love to find that WWUN record
I have that LP. It's tucked safely away in my storage unit, in St. Louis.

Unfortunately, I live in Sacramento, California.

May be a while before I get my stuff out of storage.
