Looking for old Station "Bumper Stickers"

Yes..remember when we called them "bumper stickers" from the Lufkin Nacogdoches area.

Specifically...KTBC 92.5 , KSFA 860 , 1230 KEEE, KYKS before country

Can you tell me about KTBC 92.5 in Nacogdoches. There has been a KTBC-TV in Austin for more than 50 years. KTBC-AM/FM switched to KLBJ-AM/FM in the earl 70s. It seems to me that the KTBC-FM in east texas was using those calls BEFORE the FCC started allowing the same call letters to be used in different markets. Or is my timeline off?

KTBC was the calls on 92.1 (not 92.5) Nacogdoches in the '80s. When KTBC moved from 92.1A to 107.7C2 in 1989, it changed calls to KTBQ when it became hot AC-ish "Q107." FCC records show the call sign change from KTBC to KTBQ occurred 9/28/1989.
