Looking for old WHLW friends

Yo, everyone:

I worked for a few years at WHLW in Lakewood back in the late 70's-early 80's, and have been looking for some old friends I worked with there. Particulary, I'd like to hook back up with Steve Biro, Frank Canale and Roger Foote, along with a few others.

Really enjoying this board! Seeing so many names from my past.

I was there twice, of course...from '72-'76 (part of the Mike--T. Michael Gordon--Cantoni era and then shortly thereafter, the Joey Reynolds era and 11-7 Radio) and I programmed the station for a year after Joey left and Charlie Roberts was let go. I returned 5 years later in '81 the day the owners of WOBM FM bought the station from Seymore...or the bank. I left in '84 to return to WPST after leaving there in '81 to program the from the "ballroom"...(and a few weeks later) the FM too. Commuting almost daily--sometimes twice--between the two facilities. This was before computers and T-1 lines, etc... I won't get into WHY I left...I'll leave that to the people who TRULY know. And you know who you are. BE BIG!

I remember you, Jay. I was part of the team on air when WOBM bought WHLW, so I remember you coming in as we were exiting. Mike Boyle had already left for WJRZ, I was still there with Frank, Ron, Roger and Steve. Hope you're well!

Dennis
