Looking for one minute Christian CLIPS

We run short ministry pieces on our radio stations to help keep our audience focused as I feel music sometimes in of itself is not enough.

Has anyone heard of any new, good Bible Minute type minute programs? We currently broadcast: Soul 2 SOul Minute, The Real, Taking a Minute, Our own produced pieces and a couple others.

Thanks for your input! josh

Insight for Living, Joni Eareckson Tada (joniandfriends.org), International Christian Concern, Insight for Living, SONlight, Worldvision...all do quality :60s that sound good on the air.

Josh,

You might want to check out Ambassador Advertising Agency. We used to get a lot of these kinds of
features from them.

Hey! Speaking of Soul2Soul.... does anyone have broadcast contact information? I have went to their website and all means of contact is virtually "listener" contacts and I never get back a response...anyone know how to get in contact with them or who syndicates them?

Thanks!

Why not just have a Bible reading minute with a verse of Scripture? I'm pretty sure that God won't pay for the time, but if it is a Christian minute, there are 31 Proverbs; seven months of the year have 31 days. Might work for you as a public service.

That is a problem - many of these well-intentioned Christian syndicated program sites do a terrible job of communicating with potential radio station managers.

Recently I visited one website I think it was for a rock show Chord of Whips or something like that and there way absolutely no contact info on the site. I think there was one link for contact and it took you back to the site you were on. When there is a problem like that, I just walk way and say to myself - "These people have to get their act together by putting a valid phone number and email address on their site. If they can't they shouldn't be producing radio programs."

Here's the email address for Soul 2 SOul >>> [email protected]

Take care. josh

I was thinking more along the lines of station personnel reading the Proverb. No sermons involved, just plain reading of a Proverb a day.

Odd Josh, I found the contact info for Whip of Cords pretty easy on his site:

http://www.whipofcords.com/v1.0/index.php?option=com_contact&view=contact&id=1&Itemid=92

I air his show on my station! he does a great job for a rock formated show.

Hi Xmusicmatt,

I was able to locate him from a previous email we received from him and told him that there were problems with the website as I mentioned above. It's good to hear that he fixed them.

It is a good program. josh

ReFrame Media, a ministry of Back to God Ministries, is a great source for 1-2 minute programs or full shows. Depending on what age your audience is typically, Walk the Way is a good spot that gets you thinking about your life as a Christian.

Or you could try Answers In Genesis' 1 minute program....

Hope this helps

Josh - You're doing a somewhat more youth-leaning format, aren't you?

If so, I strongly second Groundwire and Lifeline Productions. Walk the Way is also pretty good, and is adaptable for younger or older audiences.

Ambassador Advertising is a good source and a good group to work with. However, pretty much all of their programming is more adult-targeted.

A couple more I'd recommend looking at:

Westar Media Group - http://www.westarmediagroup.com - A syndicator, and another good group of people to work with. Most of their stuff is more adult-targeted, but they do have a few good offerings for younger audiences. (FYI, they are a syndicator for Walk the Way.)

Hotspots with Skip Heitzig - http://www.hotspotsonline.net - 60-second spots. The production is hot, and the content is very Bible-teaching focused. May be exactly what you're looking for.

Reaching Your World with Luis Palau - http://ryw.palau.org - 2-minute spots focusing on evangelism and encouragement. Would work for just about any Christian format.

Youth Waves with Blake Porter - http://blakespeaks.com - Very youth-targeted 60-second teaching spots. However, they're not updated that often.

Not Religion - http://www.notreligion.com - 30- and 60-second spots. They're not really Bible-teaching, but they're more designed to speak about life issues in a way that is relevant to both Christians and non-Christians. A very good evangelism spot.

888-NEED-HIM - http://www.needhimresources.com - 30- and 60-second spots. Again, targeted toward evangelism. They have a very wide variety of spots for a wide variety of formats (some will work for your station, some probably won't). I believe they're updated at least monthly.

You might also want to look at artist testimonies. Some bands include testimonies or ministry tracks, usually as the last track on their CDs. (I know Disciple and Seventh Day Slumber each did this on one of their earlier CDs.)

Hope this helps!
