I really like this syndicated show PARTY PLAYHOUSE with Jackson Blue,, Do you guys have any info on stations that stream where I can hear the Overnight version... I get it on Power 97.5 in Junction City Kansas, but was wondering what other stations air this program at night. It sure beats a jockless overnight...... Id like a higher quality stream to listen to it on,, I get it on Power 97.5, but its stream quality isnt all that. THANKS...

Hmmm, that's what I thought. I was under the impression that clubber's local CHR, B-97 Bloomington, carried the show in the evenings. That's the case with Nashville's 102.5 The Party (which added it last week) as well as nearby Magic 98.5 out of Cookeville. I also know that 96.5 The Mountain out of Chattanooga carries the show, in overnights, though they're not streaming at this time (which is a shame as they sound great). The new Shine 101.9 in Waycross, Ga also carries the show.
A quick google check brings up the other CHRs carrying the show:
99.7 DJX Louisville
Channel 94-1 Omaha
B-92 Charleston
Planet 102.3 Corpus Christi
B-102.9 Lafayette, Ind
94.5 KSMB Lafayette
105.5 The Cat Paducah
B-104 Berlin-Oshkosh-Fond Du Lac
Q-101 Harrisonburg
Power Hits 97.5 Junction City-Manhattan-Salina
Y-101 Quincy, Il
Mix 94.1 Franklin, NH
Power 96.3 Eureka
Hits 106 Kearney, Ne
94 Rock Elmira
Music Monster 94.3 Twin Falls
103.3 Kiss FM Midland-Odessa
106.7 The Point Aberdeen, SD

I gotta agree CHRles. As you know, I live in between Knox. and Chatt. and I am LOVING "96-5 The Mountain". I hope they get a webstream up at some point so others can hear it. The music is a great selection of mainstream CHR (with some cool, unusual gold titles thrown in) and the "Hallam FM" jingle package they use from Reel World is awesome(I know it's technically a Hot AC package, but it works great on mainstream CHR and is one of my fav. jingle packages right now). They are a far better sounding CHR than the market's previous "98.1 Kiss FM" was. I'm hoping they make it (and judging by a huge jump in the last arbi-trends, I'm thinking they will). I listen to them on my commute from home till I get to Knoxville, (then I flip over to Electric 94.9 from the Tri-Cities, because both "the Mountain" and "Electric" are far better sounding than Knoxville's adult leaning (and kind of boring) "Star 102.1". Anyway, sorry for hijacking the thread MWC ;)

BRH, Your taste in CHRs and analysis of them runs parallel to mine (as well as Clubber's). Electric 94.9 is indeed a great sounding CHR!
Star 102.1 undoubtebly sounds Adult leaning due to sister station Hot 104.5, which is a pretty cool Hip Hop leaning Rhythmic CHR.
It's nice to know that TN is well covered by CHR radio. The only region lacking is the western part as Q-107.5 doesn't even cover the entire Memphis area properly. I wonder if 101.9 Kiss FM out of Jonesboro will keep its CHR format when it becomes a Memphis move-in. Also, Jackson hasnt had a CHR since Z-105.3 bailed on the format last year (or was it 2 years ago?).

I like the hip sounding CHRs that arent afraid to play some Gold... Your right,,, Star 102.1 is pretty boring,,, they wernt bad when they were on 93.1 yrs back, but knoxville's best CHR was WOKI I-100... Rock leaning until 91,, then dance friendly till march of 93,,, then country......

Anyway, thinks for the affiliates list,,, plenty of streamers carry it,,, the reason I asked for the overnight version is so I have something entertaining to listen to on late nights instead of jockless programs... I think the evenings should be live and local... I know Kicks 106.9 used to carry it, but I guess it got moved to the more Adult Friendly Magic 98.5.... Fair enough... I do wish The mountain would stream,, I tried to listen to it in the Smokey mountain park, but the signal was so weak that my passengers complained,,, I flipped back to Electric......

Mix 97.7,, Formerly Power 98 in the 80s and early 90s.... despite the name is a good CHR in Myrtle Beach,,, its like Active hits like my local WNOU INDY, but it plays older golds too, while WNOU only plays currents.

Yeah, now that was a truly kick butt, fun CHR. The old WBPR "Power 98" in the late 80's/early 90s with Barry "the Reazar" Richards, Kahuna, and Stevie Rocker. They played tons of custom dance mixes, and had goofy "attitude" sweepers voiced by Mitch Craig. (I have an aircheck of them that I recorded on a trip in '89 that contains two favorite sweepers that they used; 1. "The New Power 98....Turn it up...Turn it up...and p*ss off the neighbors". 2. "The New Power 98....Leading the pack and inviting the competition to bend over". ) Boy do I miss fun, in your face, CHR's like that. Kahuna also went on to later program two other killer CHR's in the mid 90's; KLRZ "Pirate Radio Z100" New Orleans, and then KQID "Q93" Alexandria, LA. They both sounded a lot like the old "Power 98".

Do you remember the late Stevie Rocker at Power 98,,, he was such a nice and friendly guy, he was the MD working for Richard, also a cool guy,, I still talk to Kahuna at times, he is truly a very nice CHR Radio guy,, he has a site called Thatwasradio.com Its a great site... Myt Fav Power 98 sweeper was the one that said... its windy in Myrtle Beach, because the other stations Blow//// Wave 104 was also a good Dance Friendly chr,, it was a true CHR Radio war.. i always liked Power 98 better, but Wave 104 was fun too.. Power 98 flipped to mix 97.7 in DEC 93, but they kept their jocks and Format,,, its just the Power Brand was a hard sell during the off season months... Go to that website, it has a ton of info on Myrtle beach, and many other CHR-and Rhythmic and some Rock station... the old KZQ was a fun CHR when it was Energy 102,,, before Power 98 came along and was a much more fun Youth sounding station... Power had alot of Mixshows,, they had the 11 o clock Thunderstorm,, all Dance and Hip Hop in the mix for a comercial free hour,,, and the drive at 5 mix, and weekend Superadio mix.. Power 98 was very dancy, almost every song was an extended 12 inch mix,, back before every song had to be 3 to 4 minutes.... Unfourtunately Stevie Rocker passed away in 2004 after a long battle with Cancer,, he was only 36... He was really nice to me and gave me a bunch of Prizes,, free hats,, t shirts, and Bumper stickers which I still have,, I got to take back home with me...

Power 98 really made me think WOKI and WKSF where pretty boring after I heard that station a few times.. I still think Power 98 was the best Defunct CHR-Dance-Rhythmic station ever,,, from one of the coolest affordable vacation spots...

Out of curiosity, I thought I would check out what they play on yes.com. You're right...some great 90s gold that nearly every other CHR stopped playing awhile ago. Looking back in the last week I found EMF, Freak Nasty, Roxette, House Of Pain, Foo Fighters and CeCe Peniston.

But they still are aggressive on new music, including the new tracks from Green Day, Lady Gaga and All American Rejects in decent rotation.

I would love to hear this station stream!

Some great news with regards to 96.5 The Mountain - they are now tied for second place overall in the Chattanooga ratings.

Awesome,,, cant wait till they stream,, ive heard only positive things about it... I tried to get it in Knoxville last week or so, but no luck,, I listened to WAEZ instead.....
