Hello,
I'm looking for recommendations/experience of what is being used to block-out network spots with local ones on an Internet stream. Many of the requirements for network and agency produced ads require stations to block-out network spots due to AFTRA rates not being covered on the talent producing the ads.
Spacial Audio used to offer the SOS - or Stream Overlay System. It looks like the system is no longer available.
We could rig up an audio router to switch based on a command from an automation system while at the same triggering a playlist on an internet-only audio program source. The only issue is that seems like a lot of hackery to get this to work and could easily fall apart.
Can anyone share stories/experiences on what they do to replace terrestrial spot content for an Internet stream? Are there service providers and technologies that are available which do this?
Thanks.
