Hello All,
New to this board and to the radio field. I assume this subject has been brought up in the past and you all probably get sick of answering these types of questions. But, I am attempting to pull out all stops in finding some employment in the radio field. I have found it difficult to find work here in CT and having a family makes jumping around the country difficult.
For a little background:
Graduated in 2004 from CT School of Broadcasting. Interned (shortly at WTIC 1080), Interned at WCCC (Wanye Manor show only for about 6 months - returning next week!), Performed Board Operations at WAQY for Patriots Games this season. I also write and perform my own internet radio to keep in practice.
I have expierence using Cool Edit/Adobe Audition on a daily basis to voice track my internet show and other small project. And currently use Audiovault at WCCC & WAQY.
I also have a college certificate in Computers and work on/with them daily in a support position.
Since my gig with WAQY will be up after this week's Patriots game (they do want me back next season), I am looking for other work.
I am not picky and do not expect anyone to hand anything to me. I work hard, learn quick and very reliable. I am willing to pay my dues and work the odd and short hours for low pay to gain expierence and build my resume.
So, if you (or anyone you know) needs someone, I am available and willing to work. Feel free to email me ([email protected]) if you have any advice or career guidance. I am constantly looking to improve and with all the expierence on this board I'm sure I can learn much.
Thanks....
