Looks like 970 is the new overflow station for 1050

Right now 970 is airing the Phillies-Rockies playoff game and is scheduled to air the Rangers game later while 1050 airs Michael Kay and the other two baseball playoff games.

What a downgrade from having WABC as an overflow station, but it was weird that WABC would be a secondary station in any case. I should have expected this with the end of Jets games airing on WABC. And good luck listening to 970 at night.
 
I am sure that the Saturday Night fans are hoping that 970 will be the overflow station when the Knicks and Rangers are on at the same time.

Actually, as recently as last year, I recall Radio Disney AM 1560 was airing overflow ESPN baseball playoff games.
