Let me clear the air on a few things before someone decides to get the rumor-mill or the BS meter running on overtime.
Rich Hancock (mornings) and Dave (the Boss) at Rational Broadcasting asked me if I would like to fill in on the 2-4p slot after Jack E. Jett left for his new gig.
I accepted, knowing full-well the circumstances when I walked in the door. The gig might last 2 weeks, two months, or two years...or it might not. I'm not really concerned about that.
Now I hear the deal with Jack has fallen through at 1190, so if Rational brings him back...or not...I'm good with that too.
I took the spot because it's a chance to get in and do something a lot of us in radio love to do...get on the air and enjoy it. That's it. No hidden meaning...no agenda...no BS.
I'm doing it because I want to.
And yes John...it's the same Dan Lewis. We'll talk a little politics, life, the universe and everything. Throw in a few guests, and some good people to talk to...and son-of-a-gun...two hours just fly by.
And we're having more fun than I've had in a long time on the air, because there's no pressure and no one standing over my shoulder screaming in my ear.
If you want to hate me because of who I used to work with...fine. I really don't care.
If you want to listen and you happen to enjoy a little bit of the show. Great. Glad to have you.

My co-hosts will consist of a roundtable of guest hosts...Kevin Thrasher, Brian Beck and Mike Shannon.
