Maria Exits Mornings At WBLI

COX Top 40 WBLI/LONG ISLAND morning co-host MARIA GARCIA has resigned after 8 years at the station. This is a rare opening to join STEVE HARPER. Should Be Steve &..... LJ

IMHO JJ should put LJ Lovely in at mornings. She use to make guest appearances in mornings on "Hersdays" so the audience alraedy knows her. Steve would be more appealing to the older listeners and I believe LJ would help bring younger listeners to the show as well. It would seem LJ deserves this especially after passing up mornings at WPDH with Reno !!!!! JJ you listening cuz ??????

That was my first thought, to put LJ on with Steve...not gonna happen. And it's for the same reason she didn't go with Reno to WPDH; she wants to concentrate on music and programming, and she to stay on the night show. It will be interesting to see who gets the gig...stay tuned!<P ID="signature">______________

I know its unlikely because the best mesh would be to have one male & one female, but would former Party 105 PD Andre (who is at BLI & on the air as I ype this) be out of the question?<P ID="signature">______________
