Looks like Pride radio is coming to KBIG-HD2

I was doing some research on hdradio.com and they have listed under KBIG-HD2 GAY RADIO. It looks like Los Angeles is going to get their own pride radio as expected. From what I've heard on these stations, its a mixture of dance/club hits, 80's, 90's and now top 40 hits. It will be good to hear dance on La radio again. I can't wait.

It's a natural for them to do as KBIG has been gay friendly with a huge gay audience for years now.

Nope.

According to the article, it will be HD-2. Disco gets bumped, which is a good thing really.

And very unfocused in it's musical selection!

Sicne when does a Urban Oldie like Juicy or Special Lady(sitting on top of the world) fit right next to a dance song? Or I'll Make love to you, which references Sexual interaction between Boy and Girl(Pride targets Same Sex couples)

I'm sorry, but this is a turd. If you're gonna play dance, play dance. If you'll play Jamming Oldies, play Jamming oldies. And so on and so on.

Yes I do agree. I think some of the songs they are playing are not fitted to this station. I am diggin alot of the dance hits but it does get ruin by hearing a slow jam song. I hope it will develop within time and they can get it right!

Bleh. Too much hip hop/RnB, not enough retro.

(HEY.... KMVN and KBIG 104.3-1 too!)

More and more I'm listening to this station in my car and online. They have been playing different songs each day. Its very interesting! Its not the same songs over and over. I wish this was on an analog signal so I can hear them everywhere not just in my car. I have you been listening lately halloaaryn?

I listen overnite at work... I didnt listen last night though. Listening now though

I LOVE the extended mixes....

I would also love to see some international pop groups like Sugababes, Girls Aloud, Rogue Traders.... but I know im dreaming.

They seem to have cut back on the RnB and hip hop..

I wish they had a scrolling song list though...

ok, i'll stop complaining now.
