I know, I know, Russ is old news, but if anyone is interested, this is posted on the Tarrant County Criminal Docket case load;

Russ posted a bulletin on his myspace that his father passed away yesterday, 02,17-09. No matter if you love him or hate him, you must admit Russ has done a lot for the families of falled police officers and firefighters. As a police officer and a fan of Russ, I send my deepest condolences to Russ and his family!

I'm not quite sure why Russ even bothered to mention his father's passing if that is true. He hasn't seen him in years and wouldn't visit him in the nursing home he was put into after his stroke a few years back. Nice guy.

Remember everything you hear on the radio is NOT always true. Stop thinking that. How do you know that Russ wasn't there with his dad on a regular basis when he was in the hospital? You don't.
 
He may not know for certain just like we dont know if one of the posters here is actually a police officer. Given Russ' s persona and his negativity, it is quite possible he didn't visit his father and they were estranged. Russ loves the attention no matter how he gets it and loves to exploit he is the victim in all of this in his own fashion.

you know what all of you that are nitpicking about Russ, A family member dying isnt anything to joke about. I'm not suprised that you people would make light of what Russ mentioned about his father's passing. You people should be ashamed. ::)
 
Um there has been some incidents over the years ,where Russ himself has put down,took a shot at,etc of someone who had lost a family member. So he is not above of what he gave to others.
 
What I find amusing is that the "holier than Russ" types immediately sink to his level given the opportunity. Kicking someone that is down is just classless behavior.

there is something called a radio bit and reality..and I believe you are believing it is still a radio bit.

You know, a lot of people cast stones, opinions are like a$$ holes we all have them. Let's save this thread for the end of the trial, when we'll know more of what is going on. Either way, he is off the air, so if you don't like him, talking about him is just keeping him in the public eye. So in a way you are helping the guy you hate keeping his name alive. Another point, those of you whom hate Russ, why not tune out and forget about him, even when he was on? That way you don't reinforce his popularity by giving him your share and keeping him on the airwaves. But do as you will. I am interested to see the results of the trial. Meanwhile Russ and JD still enjoy their Non compete vacation, and I only hope they are good guys and are helping out any way they can, their supporting and faithful cast.
