Adios to "Eagle Country 97.5" , though the country music format lives on, as its now part of the simulcast with Great Eastern Radio's "Froggy" branded stations. 100.9 WWFY in Berlin / Montpelier VT & 104.3 WJKS Keeseville NY / Burlington VT.

I can receive WWFY here (White River Junction area) as well as Great Eastern's Kixx 100.5 WXXK Hartford. I've noticed that the playlists of Froggy 100.9 and Kixx 100.5 are identical, with one station usually about one song ahead or behind the other. Is this standard for all of Great Eastern's country stations, regardless of their branding?

The Radio Roadie happened to be passing through the area on business, recently, and quickly pressed that seek and scan button on the radio between 97.5 and 104.3.. Same song, then in a stopset, out came the three station legal ID... On paper, the 97.5 signals offers more coverage than the 104.3 signal, reaching both the south and north ends of the mahhhhhhket.,.
Yes, Great Eastern uses the same format playlists often for their stations.
Q-106 and 107-1 Frank-FM use the same playlist as well.
They also own 89.5 WNCK Nantucket, MA. "Quahog Country 89.5"
