Or we can give them a while to see how things go. If ratings for 99.7 continue to fall I wouldn't be suprised if they didn't switch. I can just imagine how CHR/ Alternative hybrid format would do here.

You know - they have been on the air, for what, 6 weeks? Give them a chance for a bit. They could totally turn the Blitz around for the better - and they have such a diverse audience of listeners - who else has that? 18+ Men & Women?! It's awesome! Always gotta pick on the new kids in town....sad. Change doesn't happen much in Columbus, so are you all just nervous that they could flip this city upside down in the morning radio market? I hope they do. Some of these other shows need to be brought down a few pegs......

Good Lord. Sharing your opinion is one thing, but the down right negativity of some of the posts on here is just really childish.

While I don't feel L&R are a great fit for the Blitz, they are a solid show. And who knows, change can be good. Maybe they will totally prove me wrong and kick ass on The Blitz.

The Blitz is all I used to listen to, and was a fan of Blazor and Mo. I gave R&L a chance, but after a few listens, I realized the show was not for me. I rarely tune in now, but will occasionally listen when my now first preference is in commercials.

This is an alternative town. X1067 is doing so well and it's only been around a few months. CD101/1025 has always had a loyal following despite their average ratings. Plus, Mix is on a crap signal. If a good Modern AC was put on a decent signal in Columbus, it would steal from them all. Alternative/Modern AC has always been preferred here. Look at how WNCI has been for years.... less rhythmic, but add Grouplove, Gotye, and Linkin Park.

Your a genius! Bring in more shows that do not originate out of Columbus. I know it's easy to be a keyboard bad ass, but if you put your ego aside...you may notice that local radio is what this business needs. Is anyone even LIVE at 1067? I've been on the air almost a month here and I love it. Maybe you all will visit the show again and develop an alternate outlook/opinion. Then again...I know how folks love to hate on these boards

And the ratings drop more...... from 2.9 last month to 2.7 this month. ( yes i know it the overall 6+ number but its big talk for numbers like that my friend.)

First thing you said when you came on the air was "Uhh, Robin, what's in the news?" then you had a really smart guy playing sound effects, and the worst was you had some fat guy strung out on heroin named Marty Lange who would occasionally come in with a quick joke......whadda rip off lol. Personally, I think you're show was better in the 90's lol no but your show kinda has that sensability without being a ripoff like "Rover's Morning Glory", my mom was in the car and I had Rover on. She asked me with a completely straight face if Rover was Howard Stern's son, she wasn't being sarcastic or anything. You seem like one of your big inspirations for getting into radio was Howard Stern, but I could be wrong. According to Rover, Kasey Kasem was the inspiration for him getting into radio, even though his show sounds like a bad Howard Stern clone. I'd like to point out that I just got back from the hospital and they gave me a lot of vicodin to take, hence the rambling lol.

IMO the chances the Blitz will enjoy any significant resurgence -- regardless of who is on in mornings --equal the chances the Supreme Court will let the federal healthcare law stand. Of course, I guess it's not fair to compare two groups that differ so greatly in intelligence and integrity. On average R&L have far more.
