Los Angeles Radio Ratings: March 2023

I don’t think kroq will ever return to the numbers they had in the 2000s. But, I also don’t see a point to make changes to the station. Theres just nothing else worth doing in Los Angeles. With their already lean staff, they don’t have to bill a lot to keep their head above water
I agree to little to late

But the billing on both of them is still really good, right?
Compared to what? KROQ took a big hit in the last year as long-time clients realized it was not coming back rapidly..

How far behind KLLI was KXOL in the breakout?
Personally, I'm curious to know how far KLLI was behind KLVE in 18-49 and 25-54, given what David said in the thread on the Houston board about how one of the reggaeton stations was close to challenging for the #1 spot in Spanish.

Definitely did not see that coming from KBUE, though, that was definitely the most surprising part about this book.

In 18-34, KLLI is #1 Spanish, KXOL is #2 and KLVE is #3. The #1 is 0.8 ahead of the #3 station.

In 18-49, it is KLVE, KXOL and KRCD (Virtua tie) and then KLLI.

25-54 it is KLVE tied with KBUE, then KXOL and KRCD in another near tie.
Definitely did not see that coming from KBUE, though, that was definitely the most surprising part about this book.
And it appears to be a couple of heavy users. We see this occasionally and then things go back to normal.

The RadioInsight Los Angeles ratings are stuck on February.
Unfortunately on "new ratings days", some pages on RadioInsight do not load right away at 2PM PT/5PM ET.
I've opened different browsers and gotten different results: for example, Microsoft Edge opened the new page(s) while others did not until much later. Your mileage may vary...guessing it may depend on browser cookie settings or similar.

KYSR is fortunate to have such a strong and established morning show, otherwise I’m sure they wouldn’t look much better.
Surprised not to see them higher in the ranking.

I guess hearing how they themselves speak of Ryan Seacrest or Big Boy, I don't expect them to overtake their shows (although I do remember their show beating Ryan Seacrest a few years back), but KRTH and KBIG? Are these shows better, is the loyal audience that much a factor, or it is just about the music format – and whoever wants the show just goes to the podcast?
