As for Mayor Reconquista, no better publicity for KFI can be had. Those dj's he was honoring should not be getting awards. They should be arrested for aiding and abetting illegal alien criminals.
 
Way to go John and Ken! Teach all those folks the difference between Legal and Illegal immigration! The mayor has no clothes. Thanks to KTLA for the free publicity for the cause to end the "Illegal" immigration!

L.A. Mayor Attacks KFI's John And Ken In Speech
Ken, John On KTLA

In a speech at the the NATIONAL HISPANIC MEDIA COALITION's awards luncheon, LOS ANGELES Mayor ANTONIO VILLARAIGOSA departed from his text praising Spanish-language hosts to take a shot at CLEAR CHANNEL Talk KFI-A/LOS ANGELES afternoon hosts JOHN KOBYLT and KEN CHIAMPOU. VILLARAIGOSA called JOHN AND KEN "hatemongers... two people who get on the radio every day, who share a commitment of dividing AMERICA, who demonize our immigrants... shame on you."

Interviewed by CW affiliate KTLA (TV), JOHN KOBYLT responded by saying the Mayor's comment was "exactly right. We're dividing. It's American citizens versus those who are breaking the law and costing us tens of billions of dollars." CHAMPIOU called the comments as like "a declaration of war, there was emotion and anger and passion in his voice. He did what all politicians do, he refers to the issue, to the UNITED STATES as a nation of immigrants, and he completely only talks about immigration, never dividing it into the categories you have to divide: there are legal immigrants and there are illegal immigrants." KOBYLT, watching a videotape of the Mayor's speech, laughed that "I think he's gonna challenge us to a fight."

KOBYLT tells ALL ACCESS that the KTLA tape of the Mayor's speech was heavily edited, and that he and KEN will have the complete tape, with their commentary, on their FRIDAY afternoon show.
 
The Mayor just helped John & Ken to another killer Fall book. Imagine, an award
ceremony for Hispanic radio people who cajoled their illegal alien listeners to
march in the streets. Is this Orwellian or what? Yet the so called mayor is
encouraging a war with John & Ken. I'd like to see the old Polic Chief Daryl
Gates arrest this joker and throw him in the slammer for being an agent of
the Mexican goverment.

Daryl Gates did give us Special Order 40 in which police officers can not ask anyone if they are legal or not. So, I'm not all happy with him. He's a big part of the reason why Los Angeles is where it is today and why there are too many spanish language radio stations. But that will change as legal resident American voters including Hispanics want an end to illegal immigration.

And thank you to Mayor Photoraigosa and all the (mostly) spanish language d.j.'s who brought the 1/2 million on the streets on May 1. It was the best thing that ever happened to fighting and ending illegal immigration.
 
I agree.....the Mayor bringing attention to a specific show certainly won't hurt them in the book.
Why is the Mayor of a major American city advocating "illegal" anything??

Exactly. As an elected public official he especially has an obligation to uphold the laws of the land regardless of his race, heritage or whether he agrees with some of those laws or not.

Apparently Mr. Villarigosa and his cronies have forgotten that.
