I noticed that a pretty “active” poster here got banned. It’s not my place to hold an opinion on it and I’ve been given no reason not to trust staff this far:

Regardless, I enjoyed his posts and interacting with him still. I see that thread was a mess at the time of his last postings and it’s obvious what happened after the warning from Lance, i’m just curious if that’s permanent or not.

If your policy isn’t to share that’s fair too, and I apologize for the bother. If that’s the case, please delete this thread if possible!
 
Reasons beyond bannings will remain private as we send warnings to people before anyone is banned and sometimes through private messages we resolve issues and sometimes it takes something a little more harsh to get a point across.

Banning anyone is the last thing we want to do for any circumstance, but sometimes debates get too heated and people cannot think rationally in the heat of the moment and need an outside push to deescalate.
