Lost 80's - now found

The thing is how many people invest in HD radio these days, not many, for me 105.5 KJWL is where the 80s hits are at or stream KRTH, or any other classic Hits station.

Both 98.3 and 105.5 are Fresno stations. Poor coverage in Visalia. 98.9 HD 2 comes in crystal clear in Tulare County. KJWL 105.5 should move back to Horse Thief Ridge on the West Hills.

What a joke Koko is all over the place with music and lite rock 98.9 is anything but lite rock. The best 80s Classic Rock are Kjfx Kkdj . Kkdj is better because they don’t have the morning talk shows. I just heard Kkdj now has a TV station so I checked it out it’s really great it’s not on cable might be on dish but I have an antenna and get it on 27.1 . This reminds me of mtv or country music television

I might have only come across a good segment on KJWL, but Adam Ant was an unexpected detour from all the Neil Diamond that was all too common in the first months. Guess they’ve broadened their library? It’s almost KRTH ish at times.

And, as to KKDJ - less morning show chat and more music is appreciated. Just need less burned out classics and more album tracks.

Why is Bob and Tom still on the air anyway? Oops - cue the laughter.... Coukd shorten their show by thirty minutes without the laugh a minute crap...

Nothing makes me hit the reject button faster than the constantly cackling hyenas.

I disagree on that, 105.5 has better intensity with 25K at there current location better city grade for Fresno and Clovis, the west Mountain location was to far west with not enough power, when they were there was a weak rim shout station for Metro Fresno and Clovis.

Not true. Real coverage was 3 to 4 times the area and population that it has now. The ratings were poor because of the format and the "then" owner moved it closer to Fresno - Clovis to be able to sell the station. If the west hills are a "Rim shot" so would Meadow Lakes and Eshom Point be.

No No, you probably were not in Clovis back then, the Signal from there is nothing like Meadow Lakes and Eshom Point, which they are on the East side like most of the population, yes it had line of sight, but the power 2K would be comparing how 104.9 KCRZ sounds in Clovis, that sight would serve Mendota and Coalinga great, Not Metro Fresno and Clovis, same goes for KZLA 98.3, not intended to serve Tulare. The 25K for a B1 from Kerman to that is like comparing Clam Chowder and a Milk Shake, the thicker(Signal-Power Intensity) the better, get it got it this has been sponsored by Grainger.
