Lost CHR songs from 2009

I just realized another really CHR song from last year we that we don't hear anymore is "I Hate This Part" by the Pussycat Dolls. (Actually, that song debuted toward the end of '08 but continued to be popular in '09.)

Does anyone hear this on the radio anymore?

If I remember, KIIS-FM played it sometimes in July in the overnight hours, haven't heard it since... I think I also heard it on B96 Chicago aswell.

When was the last time your heard "Obsessed" by Mariah or "Blame it" by Jamie Foxx?

(Eminem is getting the last laugh on Mariah with his surging popularity this year.)

Actually, I do kind of admit 2009 was pretty good for music, although I still don't think it surpasses 2010. The second half of 2009 was especially better. As I was listening to some of the mixes I did last year, I heard the mix I did with Green Light by John Legend and it reminded me of how good things were getting. It was also last year when many melodic tunes from Iyaz, Fareast Movement, Jason Derulo, Black Eyed Peas..etc began to hit as well. For anyone interested, the mix with Green Light in it is available here: http://7000express.multiply.com/music/item/250/The_All_New_Freeflow_Rhythm_Show

Make sure you download the SECOND link, FREEFLOW RHYTHM CLUB MIX.

I know this is an old song, but does anyone still play Biz Markie's "Just a Friend"? I just heard it right now.

"Just a friend" is heard ALL THE TIME on 99.3 / 92.7 The Beat Arizona's Home for Classic Hip Hop. It sounds like one of their biggest hits. I'm sure KZZP has used it on the weekends, and KZON probably has it in some rotation now that they've decided to start playing a few recurrents and some old school here and there. I normally hear "blame it" and "obsessed" in mix shows. "I hate this part" still plays on regular playlist. "Blame it" still plays on KMVA. 2009 was definitely a huge start to musical improvement, but there was still too much crap from 2007 "bringing it down".

Addicted-Saving Abel. Came out in '08 but jumped onto the chard here in '09. Never hear it on CHR stations as a recurrent

I still here it quite a bit on the local Kiss station in my area.

I am within range of two Cumulus CHR's and a locally owned CHR and they all still play this song.

I just remembered a song thanks to a commercial I just saw on TV... anyone still plays Cobra Starship's "Good Girls Gone Bad"? I haven't heard anyone play it since November of last year.

The New CHR station(Radio Now) in Milwaukee plays Cobra Starship's "Good Girls Gone Bad" every once in awhile.

I still here this one often here in VA on Hot 1019 (Charlottesville), Q101 (Harrisonburg) and Q94 (Richmond)....not so much on Hot 995 (DC) or Hot 1005 (Norfolk).
