Lottery Live even further down the tubes

I just noticed it tonight, and it looks like the live Lottery drawing has gone downhill even further. I don't know how long it's been like this, but it was just a shot of the wheels stopped, and the number already drawn, and a voiceover said "Here is tonight's winning lottery number." Boo!! I miss the old format, and Dawn Hayes!!

Dana Hersey did a good job hosting a weekly lottery show on WFSB-3 in CT in the 70s. His signature opening was, "Are you feeling lucky?"

Actually, if you can believe it, they just showed the Cash Winfall numbers, and unlike they did before (from 2004 until now) they actually showed the balls! Still not as good as the olden days, though.

It's been like that for awhile. But, hey, one of the occasional "voiceovers" is the one and only Frank Avruch, The Voice of Channel 5.

OMG, that guy's still alive?! How old is he???

REALLY really old!! He retired several years ago but still comes back to do some voiceover type stuff and, more recently, to voice the winning lottery numbers. I think he probably does some Channel 5 Community Ambassador type stuff.
