Lotus Broadcasting Unloads Two Valley AMs

This story in RadioInsight already may be seeing some effects...


Lotus sold off Bakersfield Spanish sports talker KWAC-1490 for $300K and Fresno multicultural-brokered KGST-1600 for $800K. I have noticed that the Portuguese-American Hour is now missing from KGST's audio at 4:00pm Pacific Time M-F. This is a great show produced Fresno State's Portuguese Beyond Borders Institute. Hopefully it continues via podcast. The replacement is the usual KGST Mexican filler music (ranchera , folclórica, etc. ).
