Lotus Communications

With a documented decline in revenue
_ and staff exiting various positions,
would the SAC-LOTUS GROUP ever consider selling off the am/fm kvmx,
kvmx-fm or ksac... ps: the best calls !!!!!

They’re already leasing out KVMX-AM to Rob Williams for RAD Radio. I suppose if that gains traction in Sac on the 104.7 xlator, they may sell that off to them.

On the flip side they may want to keep the stations for the fact that they’re making money off the lease and have hardly any overhead.

No. Lotus is a very profitable company with no debt. If they don't maintain profitability, they can change format. Lotus seldom sells.

The last significant sale they made was the FM they had in San Antonio... the market was too far away from their HQ, two time zones away and with no sales synergy.

Salem, on the other hand, just sold 105.5 at a huge loss. They’re in bad financial shape and trying to make payments on loans by selling off licenses and property.

If a cluster in Sacramento is likely to sell, it’d be them with the two AMs/FM translators plus 103.9.

Problem is, who’d be in a buying mood right now?
