Can anyone give me some info on the work/staff environment there? How is the PD?
Is Lotus a good company? How is their presence in the market? All positive/negative feedback welcome.

I can tell you as the production manager here that I love this place. You'll find that most folks have been here at Lotus Las Vegas a very long time. That's due to the great management, especially Tony Bonnici. As for the PD, John Griffin....he took KOMP from being a classic rock based AOR that had very little credibilty in the market many years ago to one of the nation's most respected rock stations today.

You got that right,Dave! During my short stay in Vegas, I never really got to know John, but when we did talk, he was always nice to me and very passionate about what he was doing. Props to Tony, one of the best GM's in the country!
Lotus is a great example of how a radio station should be run. Despite what happened to me there, I'll always cherish the good memories there, 'cause they sure outweighed the bad! BTW Dave, I miss those days of working with you on commercials! Hope all is well!

Gerry....

I've been here in Las Vegas for 11 years. Lotus was a class act when I got to town, and it still is. This is objective...I've never worked there, but have always wanted to. (Sure wish they had a talk station!)

Here the deal...In those 11 years, whenever one of the really talented jocks got screwed at the stations I was working for, I'd send them to Lotus, and offer a call to Tony Bonicci...Who always took time to listen.

If you knew management here like I do....that really says it all.

Good Luck!

Must be a company standard...Lotus Las Vegas and Reno were great places to work.
