Lou Dobbs' Phoenix stop?

Lou Dobbs' biography on Wikipedia states that he worked in television in Phoenix in the 1970s. Can anyone confirm and does anyone remember which station?

The Wikipedia article got its information from a 2006 New Yorker article; however, while I can place Lou Dobbs as News Director at KBLU-TV 13 Yuma (later KYEL and now KSWT) in 1976, I cannot find record of him in Phoenix, and no Phoenix television station Wikipedia articles list him as an alumnus. If Dobbs did work in Phoenix, KTAR-TV (now KPNX) is the most likely place, as KBLU and KTAR were co-owned.

I don't recall him being at any Phoenix station. I'm fairly certain that he worked in Tucson many years ago - possibly at KOLD 13.

You may be confusing Lou Dobbs and Lou Waters.

Lou Waters was KOLD-TV's ND and primary evening news anchor circa 1978-80,
prior to his long stint at CNN.
