"Lou Grant" now on American Life

They started last week, I watched today's episode, and was stunned.

Tim Reid "Venus Flytrap"
Gordon Jump "Big Guy"
Richard Sanders "Les Nessman"

All were on tonite's show, it was like a MTM minor league!

Good stuff, especially when they talked about the new fangled computer screen thingy.

I noticed that ALN is also showing Trapper John MD on Wednesdays as well, and also Mission Impossible several times during the week. They keep getting more great shows, but a lot of them show only one episode a week. THey need to go to a regular daily lineup at least for Monday through Friday, and cut back on the overkill on Combat! and The FBI. They should also cut out a lot of the junk they show during other times of the day, especially infomercials, to show more classic TV.

Wow. Great news. I always liked that show and wondered why it wasn't on more stations in syndication after it left the air.

I do recall the first ep. where Lou Grant, upon arriving at the newspaper, gets mistaken for a tourist wanting a tour by Rossi, the star reporter.
Later, Lou gets on the PA system and calls him and everyone else who wronged him into his office.
No, I didn't see the ep. on ALTV. Just remembering it.

I also noticed that on Friday nights The FBI has been cut out and replaced with Mission Impossible, Batman, The Green Hornet, and the Color Honeymooners has been moved to Friday nights. Unfortunately most of the other classic shows that were on Saturday nights have been moved or dropped in favor of nore episodes of the daytime shows. ??? No more Welcome Back Kotter or Chico and the Man. :-\

Also, ALN Still needs to do something about the overkill on showing Combat! Nothing against the show itself, but with all the new shows that they're getting, why are they still showing it so much?? ???
