Louisville Announcer Joining Reds Broadcasts

Jeff Kelch, announcer for the minor league affiliate Louisville Bats, will be joining Marty Brennaman and Jeff Brantley for the broadcast of 14 Reds games. His first games with the Reds will be in the May 12-15 four-gmae series with Florida in Cincinnati. Kelch has been with the Bats for 20 years.

Be nice if this was some heat on Marty for being so pleasant in the booth to folks and swearing on the air. Comeuppance?

I agree radiodawkins! I think it's time Jim gets a full time slot w/ the Reds.

They pitched.......so don't have to bitch.

Thom sucks, and I sense others in the booth don't respect him either because he has been caught "filling up air time" with bullshi$.
 
I'm sick of all the commercials between batters. I listen to other games on XM and no one else does this. I simply DO NOT listen to games on radio.

Besides, the team isn't worth listening to anyway. I'm sick of Encarnacion making errors, Dunn striking out/not running out a grounders/errors in the outfield, Griffey not hustling, Belisle getting pounded. I've heard this garbage for how many years now?

I pity those of you who can not find something better to do with your time.

Ditto the Bengals.

Only the poor old Cyclones can hustle and win in this town, yet no one pays them any attention. Could it be because they don't grease Cheap Channel, who owns all the news/sports outlets?
 
Yes, those mid-swing commercials are about the most annoying part of the broadcast.

You'll note who does them ......Marty. I'm sure he could end them, but probably prefers to line his pocket with whatever they pay him to read them.
